- What is "payment profile"?
- A payment profile is the term given to the period of time the agreement will be paid over and the upfront payments required.
- What if I go over the annual mileage?
- Most “hire” agreements there will be a pence per mile charge for exceeding the contracted mileage. This is calculated within 30 days of the expiry of the contract and charged at the agreement rate.
- How long does the process take?
- An in principal decision for credit will be given within 2 hours of your application and once agreed the time scale is dependent on the availability of your chosen vehicle.
- I have a part exchange, do you take them?
- Yes. All part exchanges are valued on sight only.
- How do I start the process?
- You can contact us by phone or email and BCH will guide you through the process.
- Can I terminate the contract early if I want to?
- Yes. Termination charges vary from funder to funder, so always ask for a written termination figure and refer to your agreement documentation.
- Who is responsible for insuring the vehicle?
- It is your legal responsibility to be insured to drive the vehicle, regardless of the funding contract.
- Can I swap the vehicle for any other, mid-term?
- Yes. But be aware that early termination charges may apply.
- Can I change the lease contract terms and mileage mid-term?
- Renegotiation of mileage is available at any point of your contract.
- Can I buy the vehicle at the end of the contract?
- The option to buy the vehicle will be pre-determined by the agreement the vehicle is contracted under. Always speak to your funder who will be willing to help you buy the vehicle or indeed tell you how the process works.
- Can the car be supplied by my local dealer?
- Yes. You can nominate a supplying dealer, which we will be happy to deal with as long as they adhere to our terms of business.
- Where do I take the lease vehicle for servicing?
- Always have your vehicle serviced by the Manufacturers’ recognised service agent to ensure the warranty remains valid.
- What happens if the leased vehicle breaks down?
- All vehicles will have a level of road side assistance, so always refer to you handbook for details of how to contact them. If in doubt you can contact BCH who will be able to assist you.
- Can you help with my BIK taxation?
- Yes. BCH has access to the latest details regarding BIK taxation and re able to provide you with a quotation for both the driver and employer concerned.
